Minimally Invasive Retractor System

Microscope-aided surgery requires retraction that is equally precise. The BOSS Minimally Invasive Retractor System provides titanium tubular retractor ports and dilators in seven diameters from 14 mm to 26 mm and ten working depths from 3 cm to 12 cm, giving surgeons a precise fit for each approach.

Ports and dilators are 100% titanium — a high strength-to-weight ratio with strong corrosion resistance — and are non-magnetic and radiolucent for intraoperative imaging. Color coding by diameter allows quick size identification on the field. Standard and beveled port configurations are available, along with a titanium flexible retractor arm (73-2952T) or stainless steel rigid retractor arm (73-2956) for table mounting.

The system also includes a full complement of Panther™ coated MIS instruments: bayonet micro and Spurling Kerrison rongeurs, IVD rongeurs, curettes, dissectors, ball probes, suction retractors, and bipolar forceps — available as pre-built trays or configured to your practice.

BOSS minimally invasive ports and dilators are dimensionally compatible with METRx® and MITRS style tubular retractor systems.
