Lobster Retractor System

The Lobster™ Retractor System is a table-mounted self-retaining retractor built around a frame with independently adjustable arms — retraction can be modified at any point during a procedure by moving one arm or both, without giving up wound exposure. Unlimited frame adjustment accommodates patients of any size, and both adult and mini frames are available.

Two clamp styles cover different working preferences. The Lobster Clamp (18-4305) is a true side-loading snap-on/snap-in clamp for fast placement on the frame arms and retractor shafts. The Snap-or-Slide Clamp (18-4308) can be either snapped onto the arms or slid over their ends.

Configured systems are available for general surgery (18-4300B), vascular (18-4302C), urology (18-4301C) and anterior lumbar/ALIF (18-4303C), each in standard and expanded versions. Retractor blades include Mayo, Deaver, Harrington, Kelly, malleable, perforated malleable, bladder, fence, finger fence, renal, splanchnic and rake configurations in stainless steel, with many available in aluminum. A table-mounted instrument holder and liver retractor hook set complete the system.

Lobster™ frames, clamps and blades are dimensionally compatible with Omni® and Omni-Tract® style table-mounted retractor systems.
